Duties & Responsibilities
* This is a split role working on 70% audits and 30% accounts
* Planning, supervising, and carrying out audits with turnover up to GBP80 million, with minimal supervision, and ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
* Supervision and assisting junior staff with technical accounting and auditing problems
* Preparation of draft corporation tax computations
* Preparation of draft statutory and consolidated accounts under FRS102, FRS105, and IFRS
* Drafting points & recommendation for partner following fieldwork completion
* Preparing responses for group reporting for clients
* Larger accounts preparation jobs for audit exempt clients
The Ideal Candidate
* ACA/ACCA/equivalent qualified accounta3v9ah
* Minimum 3 years experience in an audit focused role within an accountancy practice
* Experience of leading external audit assignments
* Experience of preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
