Position Field Service Technician
Business Area Service
Reporting To Team Leader Field Service
Travel Territory based as far as practicable. Daily travel to customers.
Scope of Role To provide prompt, efficient & effective field maintenance & calibration services to customers.
Job Accountability and Responsibilities
Accountability:Outcome
* Routine service and/or calibration of customer instruments to ensure maximum uptime and full compliance for customers: Productivity reporting, calibration documentation and site audits
* Completion of Training to develop and refine your skills to provide a better customer experience: Training Course assessments
* Adherence to all Mettler Toledo Quality and Health and Safety procedures to ensure safe, consistent work in line with SOP's: Annual work and vehicle audits, Net Promotor feedback
* Be a Trusted Advisor for the customer in the use and maintenance of their equipment to build the customer relationship: Customer Feedback
* To successfully complete an annual calibration competency test for a range of pipettes to ensure ongoing competence and compliance: Competency test results
Working Environment

* Physical Demands
* Manual handling of balances and equipment on to and from customer premises.
* Ability to travel to customers on a daily basis by car
* Lone working
Professional (technical/functional) knowledge and work experience
* Practical / technical background preferably in a biochemistry related environment
* Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical details for non-technical people
* Ability to manage your own time well to deliver class leading service to our customers
* Self-starting and able to work alone
* Good understanding of Mettler Toledo Equipment
* Field Based experience
* Attention to detail and high level of working standards A
* bility to work away from home if required
