Due to continued growth we are recruiting for a Weekend Farm Operative to join our team based in Romsey, Hampshire.

We are a leading supplier of Poultry products into an impressive range of customers in the UK retail and food service sectors. With ambitious plans for the future, there hasn't been a more exciting time to join us.

As a member of our breeder farm within the agriculture department, you will be able to start or progress a career in the poultry industry.

Purpose of the role
As a Weekend Farm Operative, you will assist the Farm Manager and Assistant Farm Manager with the maintenance, health, welfare and general upkeep of a multi age breeding farm.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring that the birds have access to feed and drink dispensers
• Assisting with vaccinations
• Weighing and grading the chicks
• Walking the flock

This role involves a number of manual processes including lifting feed and/equipment in the region of 20-25kg.

• You will be proactive and have a strong work ethic

Working hours for a Weekend Farm Operative are 7 hours per day Saturday and Sunday.
