Payroll Manager
Full time, Harrogate - Flexible home and office based
GBP25,000 - GBP30,000
Puro Accountancy are currently supporting a growing accountancy and bookkeeping practice with offices across the UK to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager to manage a small team of 3
Brief overview of the Payroll Managers position
* Operation of payroll function - weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll schemes (approximately 200 clients)
* Processing Automatic Enrolment duties, liaising with pension companies as required
* Processing monthly CIS returns
* Being clients first point of contact with regards to all payroll matters and developing relationship with clients
* Lead, manage and develop junior payroll clerks
* Ability to think outside the box, implement new systems and processes
* Knowledge of using Brightpay would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
The successful Payroll Manager will have comprehensive payroll experience, preferably within a practice environment, however candidates with an industry background will also be considered
