ROLE: Mixing Room Operative
LOCATION: Corby
HOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday (Apply online only) / (Apply online only) (Rotating)
BASIC SALARY: GBP18,700 - GBP21,300 per annum
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: Overtime pay, 30 days holiday, death in service, career progression.

Our client is seeking a Mixing Room Operative to join their organisation based in Corby on a permanent basis. Be part of a well invested ???400m European food group with a brand new Corby based state of the art factory with the capability for further growth driven by new product and business development and manufacturing efficiencies.
In this Mixing Room Operative role, you will be responsible for:
Accurately weighing out and preparing ingredients for mixing
Mixing of ingredients to the required job and customer specification
To ensure that the machine is in a safe working condition and that health and safety rules are adhered to at all times.
To follow systems and standard operating procedures to ensure a high standard of housekeeping within the area.
Look to continuously improve SOP'S
To maintain optimum performance levels whilst meeting set KPI's in relation waste and quality.
To complete all relevant documentation
Making sure that quality checks, hygiene duties and GMP standards are adhered to
Looking at process improvements to operate more efficiently to increase productivity and reduce waste In order to be successful as a Mixing Room Operative you must:
Previous mixing experience is essential
Experience within in a food manufacturing environment essential
An inquisitive approach and effective problem-solving skills
A keen eye and understanding of process and continuous improvement
Flexible to change as the business continues to grow
Good communication, both written and verbal with a good command of the English languageQualifications - Not essential but desirable
HACCP Level 1/2
Food Safety Level 2
IOSH
