We are currently recruiting on behalf of a social housing provider in Stafford, who are looking for a Tree Surgeon to join their team on a temporary basis
Responsibilities of the Tree Surgeon include:
Carrying out general labouring duties including but not limited to grass, hedge, shrub and tree cutting/pruning as well as any requirements for small works, building fabric repairs and general building maintenance tasks
Carrying out general grounds maintenance and gardening works including domestic painting, fencing, slab repair, hedge trimming, flower bed maintenance, weeding and fertilizing plants and grass
Utilising power and hand tools including but not limited to mowers, hedge cutters, leaf blowers and Chainsaws
Collecting and delivering materials, plant and equipment from suppliers to sites
Unloading, stacking and storing materials that are delivered to sites
Ensuring all associated documentation is effectively and efficiently completed and accounted for
Tidying up areas after work has been completed
Essential criteria of the Tree Surgeon include:
Due to the specialist nature of the tree surgery element of this role it is vitally important that you are able pass and retain the necessary qualification to allow for working with chainsaws both at ground level and at height
The role will also require a minimum of CS30 and CS31 and also CS38 and CS39
