Major Logistics are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 ADR Night Drivers to work on a long-term contract for one of our clients, who are based in Telford.
The role usually runs for approximately 6 months but can be longer depending on the clients requirements. This could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
The successful candidate MUST have a current HGV Class 2 licence as well as a valid ADR Tanks licence.
Main responsibilities:
Collecting gas in Minibulk Tankers
2 runs to Leicester, each night
Dealing with customers on a daily basis
Delivering to both commercial and private properties
Adhering to all company health and safety policies and procedures
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Ensuring all paperwork is completed and compliant
Maintaining the vehicles and reporting any faultsHours:
You would be required to work on nights, starting around 1700.
The shifts are to cover Monday to Sunday so shifts depending on availability.
The working week is based on 42.5 hours, an enhansed rate will be paid for weekends and any hours worked over 42.5 hours per week.
The sucessful candidate may be required to work Monday to Friday on days for the first 2 weeks to carry out training.
Pay rate:
Pay is dependant on employment type, both PAYE and LTD drivers are welcome.
PAYE standard rate is GBP12.25 and LTD standard rate is GBP14.90. There will be an additional night shift allowance of GBP18.75 paid per shift. An enhanced rate will be paid for overtime and any hours worked over the weekend.
Skills and experience required:
Current HGV C (Class 2) Licence
Current ADR Tanks Licence (Category 2)
Digi Tachograph Card and CPC Card
Licences must not have more than 6 points (Drivers with DD or DR codes or bans will NOT be considered)
