This industry leading company are seeking a Senior Technical Product Support Engineer to be based in Eastbourne, this department serves all five Vacuum Technique Divisions: Scientific, Industrial vacuum, Semicon, Semicon Service, Vacuum Technique Service. Eastbourne specialises in the design and manufacture of Electronic Controllers, Drives and Instruments for use within the company's vacuum products.
My client is looking to appoint a Senior Technical Product Support Engineer, Eastbourne to work alongside the existing team. The role involves providing engineering technical support for PC Eastbourne operations as well as support for field issues for Semiconductor, Scientific Vacuum and Industrial Vacuum divisions. They will investigate issues with both production and field returned products producing 8D reports where required.
The Senior Technical Product Support Engineer, Eastbourne will ideally be Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent. HNC/HND + demonstrated experience may also qualify. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role with exposure to a broad range of digital and analogue circuit types - small signal to power electronics. They will also have 3 years people management experience. They will also have good general knowledge of electronic component types and familiarity with digital and analogue circuit schematic designs and operation.
