Title: CNC PALSMA OPERATOR/PROGRAMMER

Salary: GBP10ph - GBP12ph [D.O.E]

Hours: 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Start Date: Immediate

The role will involve operating a CNC Plasma Machine, cutting thick gauge mild steel to the correct size and shape. You will be required to plasma profile ensuring you get the most efficient use of time gas and material. The successful candidate for this role would ideally have worked with in a manufacturing environment. You will need to have experience of operating a CNC Profiling/Cutting Machine and have the ability to select the programme, profile correctly and load the materials accordingly. Knowledge of Techlor and a counter balance FLT license would be desirable.

As a CNC Plasma Operator, your duties will include the following:-

• Read and interpret drilling plans, specifications or instructions
• Select the appropriate cutting model compliant with the requirements.

* Modify the model if necessary.

* Adjust the cutting device according to the material it will have to work on.

* Place the metal parts and lock the retaining elements.

* Operate and monitor the cutting operation.

* Verify compliance of the finished products with the plans or cutting instructions.

* Make corrections if necessary.
