Our client is the market leader in liquid fertilisers in the UK, manufacturing and exporting a unique range of plant nutrients and crop health promoters, nationally & internationally.
Role:
Responsible for the production, bottling & distribution of speciality products, produced at our Kings Lynn site, This role requires a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to follow systems & procedures to ensure safe operation of processes & plant equipment. The objective of the role is to ensure that materials and equipment are used in line with regulatory compliance and business targets to facilitate delivery of high-quality product to customers on time & in full.
General Duties

• Follow written procedures in compliance with our clients Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, ensuring: Safety of yourself & colleagues; Avoidance of environmental harm; Efficient use of raw materials, tools & equipment, • Report all incidents, accidents and near misses using our clients near miss reporting system. • Carry out pre-use checks & routine inspections & keep detailed records. • Maintain good levels of housekeeping & plant maintenance. • Receive raw materials to site store them safely and keep records of goods received. • Use fork-lift truck & other vehicles as required to transfer materials on & off site. • Produce liquid fertiliser products to a high quality & transfer to storage. • Bottling & packaging of finished goods for delivery to customers. • Other production activities on the site, in line with competence & training. Personal requirements • Trustworthiness, honesty and a team-working ethic are required. • Ability to work under pressure and good attention to detail. • Ability to work flexibly and willingness to learn. 2 Grow With our client. • Basic ability to operate IT equipment. • FLT counterbalance license & experience. • Good communication skills, literacy & numeracy. • Experience of hazardous chemical process & blending operations is preferred.
The standard working hours are 07.00am to 16.30pm Monday to Friday, extra hours and weekends are expected during busy seasonal operations...... click apply for full job details
