Saica is one of the leading European players in the development and production of recycled paper for corrugated cardboard with a production of 2.5 million tons of paper.

The Company has recently built on its' success in the paper and corrugated market and diversified into the development and production on Flexible packaging.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Conversion Operator to join our conversion team, the successful candidate will have experience of rotary dye-cut and case maker machines.

Key Objectives of the Process Operative role:

• Ensure production targets and requirements are met while still maintaining high quality products and ensuring all quality records are kept.
• Ensure that the machine is running efficiently and correctly to customer requirements.
• Guarantee of running and maintenance of the machine when necessary.
• Ensure working areas are kept clean and tidy and that good housekeeping is in order.
• Provide flexibility when necessary and covering holidays and sickness.

Key Attributes:

• Capable of operating all aspects of machines and any ancillary equipment.
• Capable of creating good working knowledge and relationships between other shift operators and supervisors.
• Compliance with all health and safety initiatives.
• Be a good communicator and motivator while still maintaining a high level of production.
• Dependable & flexible
• Attention to quality and detail
• PC skills
