Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire

GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 Per Annum

Our client is a highly successful independent agricultural supplier and maintainer of Agricultural machinery. They are looking for a Parts Advisor to join the successful team.

Knowledge of the agricultural industry is essential for this role, either from an engineering or customer service background in agriculture.

Parts Advisor Duties:

* Answer calls from customers

* Handle queries

* Prepare quotes

* Price up parts

* Progress chase of parts both in and out of the warehouse to ensure the warehouse stock is kept at its optimum state

* To ensure all parts orders are handled by deadlines and monitor warehouse inventory

* Advise customers of the parts delivery to optimise profitability

* Ensure that the working area is kept clean and tidy.

The Parts Advisor will have good communication skills to handle telephone queries, and show flexibility of working hours in season.

General

* Build and maintain good relations with customers, suppliers and company staff and acquaintances

* Actively participate in company training & health & safety training.

* Conduct yourself in accordance with the companies Health & safety policies at all times, report

* any breaches, dangerous occurrences or accidents to your supervisor or the Health & Safety

* Representative immediately.

* Actively make suggestions to improve efficiency in the way the company operates.

* Any other duties deemed to be within your abilities

* Attain and maintain product knowledge

* Attain and maintain a good market and competitor knowledge

* Undertake and maintain a working knowledge of the Catalyst system in the areas relating to

* your role

* Must be computer literate and hold a full UK driving licence

* Must have agricultural experience

* Hours 8 - 5 pm with overtime weekdays and on Saturday mornings on a rota
