An exciting opportunity has come up for a Gas Supervisor/Auditor to assist with managing the Gas Safety operations in the smooth delivery of a quality customer focused service. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis in return for a competitive salary of GBP42,000 per annum.

About the Gas Supervisor/Auditor role:

Your main duties will be to manage the gas work force and carry out audits of gas work being undertaken and also completed gas works. You will also manage the annual/periodic gas safety tests and servicing. You will have excellent communication skills and ensure that you and your team consistently demonstrate high levels of customer service and professionalism whilst undertaking statutory gas safety tests and servicing in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.

Responsibilities of our Gas Supervisor/Auditor:

- Support and monitor a team of operatives who service, repair, maintain and install gas appliances, in accordance with manufacturer's instruction and guidance

- Ensure the correct resources and materials are supplied for each job

- Monitor engineer's performances and their time management through the management information available, engineer KPI's, parts usage and management, resource and labour costs including managing top up hours and advise on resource planning

- Ensure the security and correct operation of plant and equipment supplied, to include vehicles, flue gas analysis meters and mobile data equipment i.e. PDA's

- Ensure all certification and documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with Data Protection and Information Security regulations

- Must be able to survey and estimate any installation works, and maintain the associated administration processes

- You must regularly monitor the operatives stock, resources and materials supplied and ensure all stock levels are in line with the company requirement and carry out audits as required

- Regular monitoring of first time fix and call back rates will be in place to ensure standards and service levels are maintained

- Ensure the cost per job and call for both labour and materials is in line with the target set

- Ensure all appointments are met within the required timeframe, and work completions are within the targets set

- All engineers in the team are managed through management information and KPI's to maximise their performance

- All toolbox talks issued by the business and are communicated with on a regular basis so any changes to processes are delivered in the required timescales

- Work with the planning and admin teams on a daily basis ensuring effective communication is maintained at all times, replying in a timely fashion, either telephone or email, having regular meetings with the Gas Administrator and admin teams

- Ensure engineers are utilising the PDA's are utilised for parts ordering and appointment making

What we're looking for in our Gas Supervisor/Auditor:

- ACS qualifications - minimum of MET1, CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, (CENWAT), CKR1 & CPA1

- DAH1, Unvented Hot Water, WRAS (water supply regulations 1999) qualification

- Certificate of Asbestos Awareness Training

- Experience of working in a multi-sited company

- Experience of High Volume High pressure environments

- Minimum 3 years' experience

- Previous experience in similar role

- Previous experience in diagnosing faults on domestic gas central heating systems

- Full driving licence
