As a business that looks to invest in its people by giving additional opportunities across the teams to expand your knowledge and expertise you will be working on a number of Network Rail Bridge Projects that could take you to South Wales, the Pennines, Devon or Kent.

This role would suit an Engineer that has the experience to hit the ground running as a Senior Bridge Assessment Engineer, working on the Network Rail Asset Management Framework you will be dealing with assessment calculations and numeric calculations working on Over-, Under- and Footbridge assets.

To be considered for this role the successful Bridge Assessment Engineer will ideally have the following background and experience:

• Proven track record working in a similar Bridge Assessment Engineering role either in rail or highways, ideally with over 5 years experience.
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Hold membership of an appropriate Professional body, i.e. a Chartered member of the Institute of Civil Engineering or hold an equivalent professional status.
• Working knowledge of UK H&S Laws and Regulations
• Familiarity with Network Rail Standards would be highly desirable
