HGV Technician / Workshop Engineer Vacancy - (Fleet Maintenance Company)
Location: Elland
Salary: GBP27,000 rising to GBP30K
Hours: Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 38.75 hours per week
Our client is a Nationwide company with sites the length and breadth of the UK. Looking for a HGV Fitter to join their team in the Elland area to maintain an extensive range of Commercial and Plant Vehicles.
Their fleet includes a full range of Commercial Vehicles, Heavy Goods, large/heavy Plant, Commercial Vehicles, specialised vehicles, workshop equipment and other modes of equipment. To continue their growth our client is investing in the recruitment of a highly qualified and experienced HGV Fitter/Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to be based at their site in Elland.
Your remit will be to carry out the full cycle of Repairs, Servicing, MOT work to a high standard and help the team achieve productivity targets in a range of Heavy Goods Vehicles, your work will be varied including:
Routine & Planned Servicing
Diagnostic Work
MOT Preparation
Vehicle Repairs
Tachograph Maintenance
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified, preferably with experience of working on a wide range of Heavy Commercial Vehicles and Plant equipment, have at least a Class II HGV Licence and preferably have some experience working on Hydraulics and a diverse range of Heavy Commercial Vehicles.
There is an excellent rate of pay, working conditions and long-term benefits available.
We work with some of the most prestige Commercial Vehicle outlets in the UK and I am always on the lookout for experienced candidates in a Sales and After Sales capacity.
Excellent rates of pay, bonus and overtime potential.
