An opportunity has become available for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (mechanical bias) to be working for a manufacturing business in Rotherham.
The successful Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will report into the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.
Working Hours:
Monday-Friday - 3 shifts (6-2, 2-10 and 10-6)
Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties and Responsibilities Include:
* Fault finding on a variety of machinery such as plastic moulding machines, grinders, assembly machines and heat treatment furnaces
* Mechanical repairs to high volume production machinery
* Basic electrical fault finding on production machinery
* Preventative maintenance work on plant and equipment
* Installation and maintenance of plant and equipment
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Apprentice trained in Mechanical Engineering or above (NVQ, BTEC, City and Guilds Level 3, ONC, HNC or HND)
* Basic electrical qualifications
* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
