Fruition IT are partnering with a growing financial organisation. They are looking for a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer who will be a part of their busy service desk team.
How will you be spending your time?
You will be a part of a fast paced IT team and the first point of contact for any IT related issues, you will be responsible for Administration of Active Directory, including group policies, user accounts, mailboxes and permissions and should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, MS Office and Hardware via phone, email and face-to-face.
You will also offer customer and basic technical support services to field agents for their applications on mobile, tablets and laptops.
It will be expected that you log, prioritise and assign incidents in a timely manner, and escalate if necessary.
You will not only investigate queries, but also use and analyse these techniques in order to resolve queries. You will be confident in addressing these queries via various mediums such as face-to-face, over the phone or via email.
Key skills and experience required
- Microsoft environment eg Windows 7, 8 10 Office 2010, XP, Outlook.
- Active Directory
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Office 2010/Office 365
- Basic networking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Requires excellent telephone techniques.
- Used call logging information systems eg Service Now or Remedy
- Experience providing support to Desktop PCs, Laptops, Servers and Networks plus mobile devices and applications
