About the role

Cyber & Digital crime is at an all-time high and the risk in maintaining public safety has never been so critical.

My client is building the tools and technology of the future in order to protect our digital identities and increase our national and personal security.

They have several job opportunities across their data, engineering and product teams as a result are looking to hire of the top graduates coming out of university. They have a proven track record of hiring graduates and training them into true cyber security experts.

Their customers are counter terrorism agencies, emergency services, law enforcement and central government security. Projects are innovative and dynamic and you will play a key role in protecting the public by building innovative next generation solutions, contributing ideas for future products and services, and making a direct and meaningful impact on the future of digital security.

Scope of Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be the development and maintenance of our web-based tools. You will work with analysts, Back End developers and the customer facing team under the direction of the CTO. You must have the ability to work in the UK and pass background checks.

Desirable skills

My client are looking for various full stack developers working with a range of different technologies. Skills they are interested in include:

• Python
• Knowledge of SQL
• Linux command line
• Competent in HTML5 and CSS, and associated build tools.
• Javascript framework such as Angular/VueJS/React
• Knowledge of PHP and a web framework (eg Laravel)
• Machine learning
• Cyber security experience/Knowledge

(Not all are required for the role but a combination of some of these is ideal)
