Service Engineer

Do you have experience working within the windows and doors sector? Do you know the difference between aluminium and UPVC? If so then this could be the role for you!

My client based in Cheltenham are looking for a Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis due to expansion. As a member of the team, your main duties will be to work on the repairs side of the business. Repairs can vary from fitting new locks, to replacing handles to a full re-fit of a window or door. Replacements will be in locations within approx. an hour of Cheltenham and will include domestic and commercial properties.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving license is needed as you may be required to travel up to an hour to complete a job.

This is a client facing role so we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, brilliant interpersonal skills and most importantly a professional approach to handling customers. You must be able to demonstrate an empathetic approach to their concerns, have the ability to diffuse situations, come up with solutions to problems and ensure that the customer receives the service that our client is renowned for.

This role requires someone who is comfortable with managing the whole process themselves from calling customers, to booking appointments and diary management to route planning and then carrying out the maintenance required. Therefore you must be highly organised!

The ideal candidate will have a background in this sector & have industry qualifications including:
??NVQ in Fenestration
??CSCS Card
??IPAF
??PASMA
??DBS

Working hours are Monday - Friday 7:30-16:00 plus overtime. Salary will be commensurate with experience between GBP10 and GBP11.50 per hour.
