Qualified Computer Science Teacher required to teach small classes of Key Stage 3 & 5 students that are no longer in mainstream education. This is an SEMH school, which caters for students with a range of additional needs. As a Computer Science Teacher you will be able to deliver fun and engaging lessons, encouraging students to think outside the box. You will be joining an experienced team of teachers and support staff, who strive to make a difference.
This small school is the perfect setting for computer Science Teacher who is looking for a new challenge, and open to a change from mainstream teaching. There is an abundance of support available from the SLT, and you will also receive any additional training that is required. With a reduction in planning and marking, this role offers an alternative to teaching in a mainstream environment.
Job Role:
Delivering GCSE Computer Science
Teaching small groups of students
Planning and delivering engaging lessons
Working closely with in class Teaching Assistants
Making learning FUN for students
Ideally, you will:
Be a QTS or NQT Science Teacher
Enjoy breaking down barriers to education
Be an excellent communicator
Have experience working with EBD, SEMH or SEND
