Overhead and Underground Cabling Operative (PIA)

The role
As an Overhead and Underground Cabling Operative (PIA), you will play a key role in helping CityFibre to achieve our mission of delivering full Fibre to up to 8 million premises across the UK. You will be working in either the Doncaster or Leeds areas. Working as part of a gang on the role out of new fibre cabling.

You will help to build the Future of Fibre by:
Attending sites and provide overhead and underground copper and fibre cabling.
Installation of Blown Fibre Tubing (BFT).
Blowing fibre using fibre blowing technology.
Working with wider engineering communities to connect residential and business customers.
Working at heights and in the UG network whilst adhering to Health and Safety legislation.
Working as an individual and as a part of team to achieve targets and KPI's.???
You will need to:
Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence.
Hold a valid NRSWA street works operative to a minimum of Unit 2.
Hold or have held Openreach overhead and cabling accreditation modules.
Have extensive experience of working on the Openreach network.
Be confident with working at heights.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have exposure to risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.???
