Job Title: Construction Tutor for a Post 16 SEN setting
Location: Newcastle
Daily Rate: GBP100-GBP125
Nature of Employment: Full time
GSL Education are currently looking for a Construction Tutor to work to work as part of a close knit Post 16 team to offer vocational tutoring to learners with SEMH and/or LLDD needs.
This unique post 16 setting, located in the West End of the Newcastle, offers returning learners the chance to learn a vocation with the aim of helping them access higher education or industry based employment upon completion of their studies in School.
The Ideal candidate will have:
* Experience planning, delivering and assessing lessons and practical work in the field of construction.
* Relevant teaching qualifications to enable them to teach this accredited course.
* Experience working with Post 16 Learners
* Experience working with learners with additional needs (advantageous but not essential)
* Experience in using CPOMS (advantageous but not essential)
Hours will be 8:30-4:30 (Monday-Thursday) 8:30-3pm (Friday).
The successful candidate will require a DBS on the Update Service. If you don't have one, GSL Education will be able to guide you through the process
