Uniform Education are working with a SEND school in Surrey.
The school provide an education for boys aged 9-16 with SEMH (Social, emotional and mental Health) difficulties.
Some pupils also have moderate learning and attachment difficulties. This means that pupils struggle to form strong, healthy and sustainable relationships with others and can present with challenging behaviour.
Class sizes are small with no more than six pupils in each teaching group. Lessons are carefully planned and take into account the needs, interests and abilities of all pupils so that learning is more purposeful and engaging. Additional support in the classroom is provided by way of classroom assistants who work with pupils to build their confidence and self-esteem whilst also supporting their academic, social and developmental needs
The school is potentially looking for teaching assistants who are able to get to the school and commit to them on a long term basis. The school is part of an academy trust that specialise within SEND. A very supportive school and senior leadership team in place.
The school is set in beautiful surroundings, with an excellent team and senior team in place. The roles will be working 1:1 with students, and applications will be accepted from people with mainstream or SEND experience.
Please can you email me your current CV via application and outline your SEND experience
