Art, Design and Technology Technician
Type of School: Secondary, Mainstream
Start Date: October 2020
Type of Role: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Kendal, Cumbria
Vida Education are looking to appoint an Art, Design and Technology Technician to assist teaching staff and students learning through efficient and effective organisation/maintenance of materials and equipment within the Art and Design Technology department.
This post is to start in October 2020 on a temporary to permanent basis.
We are interested in hearing from Art & Design Technology Technicians who have school based experience or have previous industry experience.
The Role:
** 5 days a week
** Core hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm (Can be flexible)
** Providing assistance to teachers and pupils
** Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
** First Aid - willingness to be trained as a First Aider
The School:
** Ofsted 'Good'
** Understands the importance of Work/Life balance
** Successful and Supportive School
** Positive atmosphere
In order to be considered for this post, you will need to:
* Good general education up to at least GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English .
* Art or Design Technology qualification
* Minimum of 1 years relevant experience
* A DBS Certificate (or be willing to apply of one)
