Job Setting
My client requires a dedicated Staff Nurse to work within a small but unique nursing home in the Taunton, area. You will be providing support and care for persons who require nursing and personal care, caring for residents with mental health conditions, including dementia. As well as providing EMI nursing.
The desired nurse will have excellent clinical skills and a naturally caring approach. As well as being able to easily articulate and work hard. As my client prides itself on its service, you will need to be able to offer a high standard of person centred care, to enable the small group of residents flexibility and control over their own care. As well as being able to design care that suits their needs.
Nurse Skills and responsibilities
Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
Wound management
Administering oxygen
Putting together treatment plans
Overseeing a team of care assistants
Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team
