Skilled Maintenance Technician with an Electrical bias required for a domestic and commercial contact in the Harrogate area. They role will encompass PPM work and repairs on the electrical side as well as general buildings maintenance. 18th Edition and 2391 test and inspection qualifications are essential. The role is available immediately on a temporary basis and may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
As the Electrical Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for:
Electrical and general buildings maintenance and repair works
Inspection of installations.
Testing of installations and diagnosing faults.
Repair of installations including extractor fans and lighting.
Testing maintenance / repair of appliances.
Rewire electrical installations.
Test installations and diagnose faults in conjunction with an understanding of schematic drawings, plans, layouts and fault-finding manuals, and report findings.
Rewire domestic installations.
Vehicle use and maintenance
Undertaking of other duties across mechanical, plumbing, general building maintenance, plastering and joinery when required.
As the Electrical Maintenance Technician you will:
Hold a full clean driving licence
Have previous experience of a similar role
Hold Current 18th Edition Qualification.
Hold City & Guilds level (1) & (2) 2330.
Hold City & Guilds level (3) 2391 - (Inspection & Testing).
Hold NVQ Level 3 - Electrical
Be well presented and personable
Be happy to work in both domestic and commercial properties
