Job purpose
The role will involve the completion of audit engagements for the firm's audit clients. This will include assisting and advising the client management team on the formulation of audit strategy and planning.
You will be a senior member of an audit team, ensuring that the team complete in a timely manner and within budget. Ideally you will be AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified. You will have a good level of external audit experience and be able to lead audit teams, with a good level of technical expertise. Excellent communication and strong teamwork skills are essential.

Duties and responsibilities
* Management and completing statutory audit work for the firm's audit clients, including the management of junior members, reporting to audit compliance partner and liaising with clients.
* Assisting in ensuring that the audit procedures are up to date and meet the statutory requirements as laid out in the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
* Taking primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget, and when the actual differs from the budget then gaining a full understanding for the partner.
Qualifications and Experience
* AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA fully/part-qualified
* Ideally experience within a small or medium sized practice
