Do you remember when you had to do something new for the very first time? Do you remember how you felt? Maybe you were scared, excited or could not believe it was possible.

What about when you accomplished something for the very first time? How did that make you feel? Perhaps you were able to try things you had never done before or achieved things you never thought you might be able to achieve.

Now imagine what it would feel like if you were the person who had empowered a child/young person with autism to achieve something they never had done before. How would that feel?

This is an exciting and rewarding position, where you could be spending your day in a residential school working in a multi-disciplinary team alongside therapists, clinical staff and other professionals to support children and young people with autism, complex needs, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. You will have the opportunity to support individuals who have a history of placement breakdowns to find true fulfilment and happiness in their new environment.

We are looking for someone who is creative and encouraging in their approach, firm but friendly with a caring nature, and motivated to support the child/young person with the activities they enjoy.

Could you be the person we are looking for?
