Inventory Administrator - Nights

A market leading wholesale distributor is looking for a dynamic Inventory Administrator to assist the operations team on nights. You'll have the chance to be part of a progressive company with massive expansion plans. Main Inventory Administrator duties:

• Counting the total stock file between 2 and 3 times per annum.
• Ensuring the inventory counts are completed accurately and in line with the standard required by the auditing body.
• Investigating any major stock discrepancies and update the stock file.
• Completing and maintaining the stock count for auditing purposes
• Addressing any disjointed stock whilst performing the counts
• Analysing the lost sales report each morning (produced 02.00-03.00am), investigating any major discrepancies and communicating these to the demand planners in time for their morning start
• Supporting & covering within the stock administration team when required
• Any other adhoc duties

Experience for the Inventory Administrator:

• Experience in an inventory or stocks admin role
• Proven track record of working in a busy warehouse environment
• Attention to detail
• Proven written & verbal communication skills at all levels
• Excellent IT skills especially Excel
• Analytical and highly motivated
• FLT Reach Truck licence beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
