Specification Sales Manager - Heat Interface Units
Job Title: Specification Sales Manager - HIU Heat Interface Unit
Industry Sector: Heat Interface Units, HIU, Plumbing and Heating, M&E, M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors, HVAC, Bathrooms, Fittings, Plant Room, Pipework, Flameless Heating Systems, Radiators and Building Services
Area to be covered: North & Scotland - ideally based M62 Corridor
Remuneration: GBP50,000-GBP55,000 Neg. + up to GBP12,000 bonus
Benefits: Fully expensed BMW 3:30E car & full benefits
The role of the Specification Sales Manager HIU Heat Interface unit will involve:
* Field sales position, selling our clients high quality range of manufactured heat interface units HIU
* Opportunity to promote an industry leading newly launched range of HIU's
* 50% winning specifications with M&E consultants, architects and consulting engineers
* 30% managing relationships and breaking other manufacturers specifications with mechanical contractors and M&E contractors
* 20% back-selling through plumbers merchants
* Working as a HIU product champion within a team of 4 nationally
* Majority of your time will be spend generating new business relationships however will look into some hot projects
* Tasked with selling circa 800 units+ per annum year one
* Average order value GBP1,000 per unit
* Following up on Barber leads and leads from plumbers merchants and contractors
* Up-selling our clients distributed range of domestic showers, taps, brassware, heating controls etc. when the opportunity arises
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager HIU Heat Interface Unit with:
* Must have a proven field sales track record, successfully selling heat interface units HIU or related product such as boilers etc.
* Sold through specification to architects, M&E consultants or consulting engineers
* Ideally with an ability to break other manufacturers specifications with mechanical contractors or M&E contractors
* Previous experience back-selling through plumbers merchants is not required
* Comfortable with technical sell
* Team player but capable of running your own area autonomously
* New business orientated
* Role will suit someone looking for longevity and a genuine career opportunity
