Production / Operations Manager - Bait Production
Salary: GBP28,000- GBP30,000 basic depending on experience, plus bonus scheme.
Location: Goole Hull
LWS Services are proud to be the chosen recruitment partner of one of the largest online fishing bait retailers in the UK. With year on year growth and production expansion, they are now looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee their East Ridings facility.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Manage the day to day production targets and quality.
* Build in new quality systems and Processes.
* Manage incoming online orders from customer through to product and then on to delivery.
* This is a challenging, high pressure and fast paced environment, keeping production to a high level while maintaining staff morale.
* Quality of products is an absolute necessity and including the incoming ingredients from suppliers.
* Stock control, both paper based and digital formats along with batching systems are also essential.
* Responsible for the hiring and training of the team.
* A positive attitude with a vision to push the factory and business forward, developing and implementing new systems, machinery, process, and SOPs.
Required:
* Previous production management experience
* Familiar with production machinery, conveyors, mixers, boilers etc
* Stock management
* Experience working to production targets and deadlines
* Managing a team
* Basic H&S and HR knowledge
* Direct experience working with IT and Paper based systems
* Clean driving license
Additional Information:
Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
Good holiday entitlement
