Payroll Clerk - GBP28,000 - GBP40,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful accountancy firm in their Manchester City Centre HQ as a Payroll Manager.
You will join on a permanent basis, where over the last 6 years, they have grown substantially from around 25 colleagues to circa 100 - with this, comes huge capability for progression, development and exposure for yourself and those around you. Due to their considerable growth and success, the need has developed for a new Payroll Manager.
Joining the Medical Accounts team, you will have full exposure to every element of the payroll processes.
What you will do as the Payroll Manager:
* Review processes and identify efficiencies
* Work with the Payroll and the Accounts team to process clients' payroll
* Work with a high volume of varied clients
* Process payment runs or varying timescales; weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, monthly
* Complete calculations for SSP, SMP, SPP etc
* Set up new starters, leavers and new clients
* Liaise directly with your clients regularly
What you will need as the Payroll Manager:
* Experience working in a busy payroll bureau
* Excellent communication
* Knowledge of end to end payroll
What will be preferable for the Payroll Manager:
* Excellent attention to detail
* Competent with IT and MS Office
