Berry Recruitment are working with a country pub that is located between Fakenham and Dereham in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside to recruit for a Chef De Partie.
The kitchen is headed up by a fantastic head chef who advocates using only the finest quality, local ingredients.
Our client's dishes blend modern and classic ideas; tweaking English favourites with French techniques that exude global influences from the head chef's experience cooking in Europe and the Caribbean. The chef's nose-to-tail style means that everything is deliciously utilised with no leftover waste, creating variety in the menu.
THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's kitchen, to help maintain their excellent reputation and support the chef's delivery of fresh, seasonal dishes. They will offer you the chance to grow and develop your career as part of a highly skilled and exciting kitchen team.
Our client is looking for someone with
-4 years minimum experience in a similar environment
-A high level of motivation and commitment
-A strong work ethic
-An impeccable level of hygiene and cleanliness
-A willingness to work hard to reap rewards
-The ability to work in a fast paced, often stressful environment
-The ability to work as part of a team
Please be aware, your shift pattern will include evenings and weekends.
You'll receive regular meals and free parking as well as a staff discount

Salary: GBP22,000.00-GBP24,000.00 per year
