Are you seeking a rewarding role within the social care sector?
We are currently seeking a support worker to join our service in March.
Within this service you will be supporting several individuals. They each require additional support to complete daily tasks. Your role will include aspects of personal care and manual handling.
Some of the individuals' have a limited ability to express their thoughts and feelings. You will need to be able to use positive reinforcement and practice techniques that will enable their voices to be heard. You will need to exercise patience and resilience in order to meet the needs of the individuals you will supporting.
Flexibility is a must as you will need to be available to work across various shifts to include; days, evenings and weekends.
You will need to share our Mencap values and be a caring, positive and trustworthy person who is keen to support adults with a learning disability.
