We are currently looking to expand our team of dedicated support workers in Arnold where you will be supporting people who have a learning disability. We have positions with various hours available.
You don't need any experience but we do have 3 questions that we need a YES from for this role to be perfect for you:

In our Arnold service everyone has their own requirements but the type of support you will provide would be things such as shopping, cooking, eating and drinking, laundry, personal care, cleaning, finances, medication administration. You would also support them to organise activities and access the community to socialise and for leisure.
Being a support worker isn't just about making day to day life great, it's about being a part of the fun! You would be supporting with accessing their community for leisure and recreation, and to maintain relationships with people who are important to them. Some hobbies and interests include - arts and crafts, line dancing, planning holidays and listening to music.
The people we support have created one page profiles for you to read (see additional information) so you can get an idea about how to support them.
Support workers must be flexible in the hours they can work, as support can be required 24 hours a day. You will work on a rota basis throughout the week, weekends and bank holidays with sleep-ins as well.
