We are currently recruiting Re work operatives/Production Operatives for our client based in Cardiff. Position to start Immediately.
Key Accountability:
- Work in the re work section , reworking bundles of steel
- Operate machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions
- Working in a busy manufacturing, heavy industry environment Operating machinery and overhead cranes
- Work in a safe manner and have a proactive approach to all Health & Safety and environmental issues.
- Burn scrap coils and rebar with oxy and propane following a strict process in accordance with S.O.P and R/A
- Work with the reprocessing team
- Identify and resolve issues with bundles and rebar and restore them
- To work on the conti production line, reworking coils and cutting them back to how they were in their prime
- Complete general housekeeping
FULL TRAINING AND PPE PROVIDED.
Experience required:
-Manufacturing , Engineering or Labouring experience - Production, Operating Machinery, Heavy Industry or steel a strong advantage
-Experience of manual work

Weekly pay, Generous overtime available , free on site parking, full training and PPE supplied.
Day Shifts , Monday to Friday 6am-2pm/ 7am-3pm
