As a result of our success, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Surveyor to join our team in Walton on Thames.
Reporting into the Project Surveyor or Surveying Manager, your key responsibility is to take accountability for the Development and Implementation of all pre and post contract strategies, commercial functions and contract reporting on delegated projects and or works packages.
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Ensure the commercial function within the business unit effectively supports the operational teams in the implementation of H & S policies
- Regularly reviews and provides guidance and challenge on strategic project and business unit objectives
- Ensure the delivery of high quality commercial reports to the client on time.
- Issuing of tender enquiries and package reconciliation
- Regular reviews group CR policies and ensure project teams are updated
- Agree external valuations/ cash flow to maximise project value
- Agree and produce main and subcontract final accounts with Surveying Manager
- Regular review of subcontract safety audits prior to payment authorisation
- Ensure sub contract documentation is SHE Group policy compliant
A bit about you:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to form and develop relationships with client, PQS, design team and supply chain.
You will also have strong commercial skills to maximise value recovery, cost control and cash management along with the ability to use / understand financial reports and final accounts
For this role, you will be required to hold relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
