Social Media Officer
Location: Dundee
Duration: 6 month contract
Pay rate: GBP13.59ph
Hours: Monday to Friday (37 hours per week)
Pertemps Dundee are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well know Public Sector organisation, for an experienced Social Media Officer to take on an immediate 6 month temporary assignment. Post is based in Dundee however due to Covid-19 currently working from home.
The successful applicant will support the Creative Communication team with responding to client queries through social media channels - Facebook and Twitter. Day to day will be responding to client direct messages on Facebook channel, monitoring the public threads, responding to any questions and making necessary corrections to answers made by others when required to ensure our clients are given the correct information at all times
Due to the nature of this role it is required for successful candidate to hold a Basic Disclosure Certificate ( or higher) issued within the last 12 months or be willing to apply for one.
Main Duties
Respond to client direct messaging providing responses that are in line with our tone of voice and factually correct
Establish and maintain an asset library of cleared responses for use in social media management software
Support management of social media channels
Create a weekly sentiment report to allow the wider team to understand client
Report any change of sentiment, content suggestion or customer feedback to appropriate team.
Essential Criteria
Experience of managing social media channels on behalf of an organisation
Excellent copywriting skills and ability to take complex information and present this in plain English
Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage busy workload
Customer service skills and passionate about helping others
Please note a valid basic disclosure minimum is required for this position
Desirable Criteria
Experience of working in the public sector
