The Role:

CleanStart, Social Enterprise, are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver Mentor to join our busy team.

Working as part of our CleanStart team, you will carry out property clearance, cleaning, house removals and other similar works. You will be responsible for monitoring standards and staff behaviours, ensuring that excellence is delivered.

As a Driver Mentor you will be tasked with leading the local team on site, mentoring volunteers and staff members with a diverse background and actively developing the team by giving constructive feedback. You will be responsible for ensuring our customer standards are delivered, time on site is recorded and that the customers experience of our service is positive.

You will be a proactive member of the team, actively learning from customer feedback to improve the service delivery. You will have an excellent attention to detail, to ensure that high standards of customer satisfaction are reached.

In addition, you’ll ensure that all vehicles are road worthy and all operatives are working in line with health and safety. Knowledge of CoSHH legislation and experience of using mobile devices, such a tablet, smartphones is beneficial and the use of PPE, including face masks, will be required. 

To be considered for this role you must hold a full, clean driving licence with the ability to drive up to C1E (7.5Tonne) and a CPC licence is desirable although you will be expected to obtain the CPC to maintain this position. There may be an opportunity for an immediate start following interview.

As Driver-Mentor, there may be occasions when you are required to assist other areas of the CleanStart team in a variety of tasks including garden maintenance and caretaking. Therefore, experience of gardening equipment would be advantageous.
