Role - Weighbridge Operator
Industry - Construction
Location - Chelmsford
Package - GBP25,000- GBP33,000 (dependent on experience) + Optional overtime + Annual bonus
Alexander James is currently working with a well- established, expanding transfer station facility within the construction industry looking to recruit a new Weighbridge Operator to work alongside the Transport Manager in a fast- paced yet rewarding environment. With a competitive salary, potential to earn overtime and good progression, this is a great opportunity for an individual with weighbridge experience interested in a new role.
Responsibilities
Oversee in/out bookings of all vehicles tipping and collecting
Liaise with customers arriving at the yard and deal with payments
Communicate with yard staff to direct loads and establish stock levels
Work closely with the Transport Manager to deal with customer inquiries
Support the Transport Manager with other administrative tasks and fill in during their absence when necessary
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual who has experience of working on a weighbridge or as a Transport Manager. You will need to be computer literate, ideally with experience using excel. You will need to be proactive, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure when required.
