Role: Resource Planner
Salary: up to GBP42,000 + bonus + benefits
Location: Knowsley
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
CCA Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a client to deliver recruitment for a hybrid Resource Planning and SAS role for their contact centre based in Knowsley. The role will be 30% forecasting and planning, 30% reporting and analysis, 30% development and continuous review and 10% operational support.

Are you an experienced Resource Planner?
Do you have strong analytical skills?
Do you have experience using SAS?
You will have responsibility for ensuring that optimal operational long and medium term forecasts are in place for all areas, in order to execute the plan and achieve Contact Centre and Distribution Service and Cost KPIs. Develop and implement statistical forecast models to increase forecasting accuracy, constantly reviewing output to identify opportunities for enhancements.
Provide long range forecasting across all areas of the business accounting for business growth and seasonality trends (projections) to support strategic resourcing decisions to be made
Provide long term forecasts (month plans) 3 months out for Contact Centre and Distribution areas, identifying anticipated volumes across these streams and highlighting key event days or activity that may impact the operation
Create and publish reporting on the back of detailed analysis to the business detailing impact of commercial activity on business KPI's including costs and service through attending meetings with the Resource Planning and Operations Managers.
Produce metric reporting detailing ongoing performance of forecasting models and adapt visual output for stakeholder requirement
Continually research, review processes and technologies, suggesting, planning and executing beneficial changes taking into account industry improvements in practice and implementing these improvements with forecasting, whilst enhancing Operational effectiveness in order to reduce cost and improve customer experience
Constantly review and measure the output of statistical forecasting to identify potential risk and opportunities to improve accuracy
Review and share best practise with our international markets; making recommendations for improvements
Regularly meet with operations and help them to understand how to improve costs and service through workload trends
Provide simulated workload analysis demonstrating potential impact to cost and service
Responsible for making decisions on what methods of forecasting are used for long term forecast output for the UK and International markets- then given as recommendation to be agreed by Resource Planning Manager and International Resource Planning Manager
High level involvement with International markets key stakeholders such as Operations team and Commercial teams.
Daily contact with Call Centre and Distribution planners to ensure adequate flow of information between sites
Operational Managers to communicate forecasts and consider any performance issues and deviations from plan.
