Multi Drop Delivery Driver

PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS SUNDAY PLUS TUESDAY TO FRIDAY

Midlands Food Service is an ever growing food distribution business based in Barton Under Needwood. Due to recent expansion we are looking for full time multi drop delivery drivers.

The ideal candidate will be:

A cautious but confident driver,
Focused on the job in hand,
Hard working,
A good time keeper,
Committed to getting the job done.

The successful candidates daily routine will be as such:

Arrive on site between 0700 and 1000 hours depending on instruction,
Loading stock in delivery order onto vehicle (stock will be picked ready for loading),
Checking the vehicle over and fueling up ready for departure,
Making up to 15 deliveries to takeaways and restaurants,
Travel back to the depot and make notes of any returned stock on vehicle.
Cleaning vehicle out thoroughly.

Our Multi Drop Delivery Drivers are allocated a vehicle which they will be responsible for on a daily basis. The only time our drivers have to swap vehicles is for maintenance purposes.

We pay our staff on a weekly basis direct into account.

This role does require heavy lifting and often you will break out a sweat.

Interviews are usually held on a next day basis and we can start successful candidates the same week.
