Port Vessel Unit (PVU) Engineer
Location: Dover
Salary: IRO GBP48,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineer to join the Port Vessel unit on its Tugs and Dredger. The purpose of this role will be to provide technical advice and support to the Master at all times. You would also be responsible for the safety and efficiency of all mechanical machinery, electrical equipment and hydraulic systems on the vessels.
Port Vessel Unit (PVU) Engineer Requirements:
- Minimum of STCW III/2 Chief Engineer Motor
- Good working knowledge of the ISM code, Health and Safety and MARPOL
- Minimum of 3 years' service as 2nd Engineer
- Previous experience of working with small vessels
- Be able to work on a 1 week on 1 week off basis
- Be capable of undertaking mooring operations on deck as required
- Due to the nature of your work you must either live within 1 hr travelling distance from the Port of Dover or be prepared to live locally in provided accommodation
