Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To provide creative and technical support to staff and students.
2. To lead on delivering specific inductions and workshops (such as sewing machine, print-making and workshop inductions)
3. To supervise students during lessons/workshops
4. To maintain art equipment (safety and electrical testing, repairs etc)
5. To maintain a clear, clean, safe environment for students to work in.
6. To order and monitor supplies for the Foundation Art Diploma.
7. To organise and monitor the storage of student work - past and present.
8. To oversee the collection of previous students' work.
9. To maintain display areas in the gallery and corridors, working collaboratively with the other technicians on displays for Open Evenings and the annual Art Show.
10. To contribute to teaching and learning meetings when appropriate.
11. To support FAD students with the display of their work.
12. To carry out any other duties, including cross-departmental support that may be reasonably requested
