EBD Teaching Assistants Needed in Nottingham!
A fantastic Alternative Provision based in Nottingham is seeking a fantastic teaching assistant with experience of EBD/PRU to join their outstanding team. This position will involve working with a student have a statement of special educational needs and emotional, behavioural difficulties.
Such pupils can be disruptive, aggressive, pose challenging behaviour and consequently difficult to support. Hence you will need to demonstrate excellent classroom management and effective handling of challenging behaviour. It would be beneficial for the applicant to be Team Teach trained; however, this is not essential.
This role is offered as a full time contract with the opportunity to go permanent for a teaching assistant who acts as a calming influence and has a serious interest in this student's behavioural improvement.
The ideal teaching assistant will have:
6 months experience in a school
Experience with challenging behaviour
Experience working with KS3/KS4
Knowledge of national curriculum
