Software Quality Analyst Engineer (Edinburgh)

As a Software Quality Engineer, your role will be pivoted around maintaining and improving the quality of the product.
You will be well versed with putting yourself in the shoes of the users to allow you in;
* Enhancing regression testing suite (Azure)
* Developing our automation suite (Selenium)
* Developing load/performance testing
* Adding to and maintaining test documentation
During development cycles, you'll be responsible for:
* Testing new functionality, with reference to a spec and knowledge of our customers
* Identifying, documenting, and reporting issues
* Feeding back to Engineers
* Root cause analysis for bugs and performance issues
* Creating functional test plans for completed work
* Working with the Release Manager on test assignment
* Reporting test progress (to the Release Manager)
* Running test scripts
Working as a team is essential for this role, so ability to add value in a kind and constructive way is important as well as a strong eye for detail.
Experience of Agile software development process is essential, and it would be helpful to have previous exposure to C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript along with experience of Functional, regression and performance testing.
