Belmont Recruitment are working closely with a Private Nursing Home located in Stourbridge, Dudley, that is looking for a Staff Nurse on Days, to cover a 6 month contract within there home. Although this role is based on a 6 month contact for cover, there is a high possibility of a permanent placement at the end of the placement. The home is looking for a well-experienced and dedicated staff nurse. The home specialises in care for the elderly and those who suffer with Dementia.
To this date, the home has been kept infection free from COVID-19 and is using all measures to keep it that way, therefore, any interviews carried out will be via telephone or video call.
Payrate:
GBP16.50P/H
Hours:
37.5 hours per week, 8 hour shifts, running from 07:30AM-15.30PM or 13:30PM-21.30PM on a rota basis.
Essential requirements:
* Be a qualified RGN
* Have a valid NMC pin number
* Be committed and dedicated to the role.
* Have experience within a Care Home or similar environment
* Satisfactory Disclosure completion upon successful application
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Right to work in the UK
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Work within a team in a care home environment for the old age, physical disability etc
* Comply with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times
* Ensure that all residents have full risk assessments and person-centred care plans in place and that these are regularly reviewed and updated
* Take responsibility for medication administration and management
* Carry out other nursing duties associated with the role including management of resident needs, audits, record keeping, wound dressings, medication administration, feeds etc.
* Promote resident independence and respect their dignity and choices at all times
* Work in line with Company policies and procedures
