Murray Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist Fire & Security contractor who are currently recruiting for a mobile Security Engineer- covering contracts across central Scotland.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a technical engineering service with the minimum of supervision in respect of Security Systems - servicing and repairs.
Responsible for undertaking planned preventative and reactive maintenance, working across various commercial contracts across the central belt in Scotland.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Service & Maintenance of Security systems - mainly Access Control and CCTV, very little Intruder Alarms and no Fire related systems.
• To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
• To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
• To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
• To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
• To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
Qualifications and Experience
• Experience of service and maintenance of CCTV systems (IP preferred)
• Experience of service and maintenance of Access Control systems (IP preferred)
• Sound technical and environmental awareness.
• Full clean driving licence.
Hours of Work
This will be a mobile role across central Scotland.
Salary area GBP27,000 - GBP29,000
Company car/ van + Fuel card.
40 hours per week.
Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm
Overtime available and you will be required to work as part of an on-call rota (1/5)
