TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is able to teach Functional Skills, Maths and English up to level 2.
The position is full-time and starting immediately and is based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. The position is on a long term basis with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
You will be required to work with students who have been excluded from mainstream school so strong behaviour management skills are essential for this role.
For this role you must have:
Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Knowledge and experience of working with young people with behavioural issues
Must Hold UK QTS or other relevant teaching qualification
