Seven Social Care are looking for a number of temporary Employment Mentor to work in Glamorgan. These positions are available on either a full-time or part-time basis. The contracts are initially for a period of 6 months and are paying from GBP13.47 - GBP16.78 (paid to you via an umbrella company).
The role:
To deliver the Communities for Work plus project alongside the Welsh Government's Communities for work programme.
The Communities for Work plus Employment Mentor will work within the Communities for Work (C4W) plus programme running alongside the Welsh Governments Communities for Work programme.
The post holder will have responsibility for providing intensive mentoring to support participants back into work in targeted areas across the Vale of Glamorgan.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide job search support and mentoring to people not in employment.
To work in conjunction with the local Communities for Work Plus team in the development, implementation and delivery of the Communities for Work Plus programme.
To work in conjunction with the local Communities for Work delivery team in the development, implementation and ongoing operation of CfW within the Cluster.
To regularly monitor, collate and update performance management information, reports and other monitoring requirements to ensure all Welsh Government and Council monitoring is accurate and compliant.
To have responsibility for supporting a caseload of clients, using a holistic, enabling and collaborative approach
Applicant Requirements:
Qualifications: Any education qualifications would be beneficial.
Experience: Experience of supporting people to find work or improve their career.
Compliance: Current DBS check.
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours: Flexible (part-time or full-time).
